This month, work continues to progress well on the central workspace building on the Ecology Green Farm known as the Farm House where the principles of sustainability are reflected clearly in both the construction and design.
World renowned British-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare has art work exhibited across the globe, but for this project, he’ll be swapping international museum spaces and his trademark, brightly coloured wax batik fabric for a wild, rural landscape and some altogether more industrial materials.
As part of the In The Studio BBC World Service series reporter Nicola Humphries joins Yinka Shonibare CBE RA to discuss the Ecology Green Farm, the G.A.S. Foundation residency space located in Ijebu.
One donation makes twice the impact as we join The Big Give Christmas Challenge to crowdfund for two new residencies at Guest Artists Space Foundation in Nigeria.
From 1st to 27th November Guest Projects Digital will be revealing the process behind the realisation of Oracle Afronaut, an ambitious new work by internationally renowned Ghanian performance artist and Guest Projects Digital Artist in Residence, Steloolive.
Your generous contributions support the Foundation’s distinctive interdisciplinary residencies, research, education programmes and public events.
