Guest Artists Space (G.A.S.) Foundation is pleased to announce its participation in the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia by Koyo Kouoh. 

Our second impact report chronicles our journey from digital programming to welcoming our 85th G.A.S. resident in June 2025. Throughout this transformative period, we have remained committed to facilitating global cultural exchange and building a resilient cultural infrastructure.

G.A.S. has been able to offer a diverse range of opportunities thanks to partnerships with universities, galleries, cultural organisations, and institutions. Their support has allowed us to deliver residencies, programmes, and contribute to developing a resilient local cultural infrastructure.

Yinka Shonibare Foundation (UK) and Guest Artists Space Foundation (Nigeria) were established in 2019 by Yinka Shonibare CBE RA whose vision behind the two organisations is to support the development of new work and ideas, foster mutual understanding of cultural differences, and break down traditional barriers of privilege.  

G.A.S. Foundation enjoys a steady flow of diverse residents from all over the world. Our alumni span all backgrounds and career levels ranging from emerging to established artists, architects, curators, cultural workers, and researchers amongst many other disciplines.
