Miriam Bettin is a curator and writer based in Cologne. Since 2019 she's been the Assistant Curator at the Kölnischer Kunstverein where she worked on various solo and group exhibitions, among them a solo show of Emma LaMorte, as well as accompanying events. Previously, she was a curator at the Kunstverein Braunschweig, where she worked with artists such as Jasmin Werner, Marvin Luvualu António, Hannah Weinberger, Leda Bourgogne, and Hassan Khan.
She published several catalogues and artist books, among them the first publication on Jasmin Werner's work. As a freelance curator and writer she regularly realizes projects, such as the group exhibition The Same As Ever, But More So (2018) at Braunsfelder in Cologne with works by Rebecca Ackroyd, Anna Blume, Leda Bourgogne, Melike Kara, Emma LaMorte, Turiya Magadlela, Aileen Murphy, R.H. Quaytman, Frances Scholz, Ambera Wellmann, and a contribution by Jessa Crispin, et al. In 2012, she worked in art education at the documenta 13 in Kassel. She is an alumni of the Curatorial Studies program at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and a graduate student of Juliane Rebentisch.
